Besana Carpet Lab @ Salone del Mobile

Besana Carpet Lab returns to Salone del Mobile to present the infinite possibilities of carpet with an immersive exhibit by STUDIOBOOM.

Inspired by baroque architecture, in particular the elaborate and decorative seventeenth-centre noise tie of the palace of Versailles, the stand is made up of carpet inlays with bright and intense colours, arranged in geometric motifs. 

This game of combinations creates great visual impact and a visual expression of the transformative capacity of carpet—an innovative, functional and versatile product that quickly changes any type of environment.

It also illustrates Besana’s expertise when it comes to manufacturing custom-made carpets and rugs using its Mix & Match technique, or the possibility of using two or more types of product joined through the inlay technique to define unique designs and geometries.

These techniques are encapsulated in Besana’s recently launched Design Manual, a new tool and a step-by-step guide for professionals and design novices in the creation of wall-to-wall carpets and rugs from its vast collection.
