THE MEDELAN WITH A FIRST REPRESENTATION OF RESIMERCIAL DESIGN
The work spaces of tomorrow presented inside the new office mockup designed by MCD and built turnkey for the prestigious real estate complex “The Medelan”, the subject of a very important urban redevelopment in the heart of the Lombard capital.
The Medelan is one of the most important historical buildings and of greatest architectural value in the Lombard capital.
The project aims to create an exclusive mixed-use complex, in which different functions will coexist H24 and 7/7: retail, office and food and beverage. The roof top will be extremely impressive thanks to the presence of a glamorous and innovative restaurant and a wonderful terrace with a unique panoramic view of the city.
Particular attention has been paid to the environment, health and well-being of the people who will live in the building and with this in mind the achievement of the LEED Platinum certification and the application of the most recent WELL protocol are expected.

MCD OFFICE MOCKUP: THE FUTURE OF THE WORKSPACE
Today, alongside the residential sector, the office sector is certainly the one destined to be transformed and profoundly renovated following the pandemic.
If on the one hand the demand is increasingly for flexible, hybrid spaces capable of evolving (which are interconnected and sustainable), on the other hand there is an increase in the demand for solutions that transform remote work into smart-working, integrating it however within a broader work ecosystem. Hence, the search for large, spacious environments, within prestigious locations that favor interpersonal encounters, in absolute safety, and that are a flywheel of creativity, meetings and the exchange of ideas.
The office from a destination becomes a place of transition with fewer desks and more work space intended as a surface for each worker, to ensure safety and privacy.
An expertise, gained by the latter of MCD for the residential sector, which is summarized in the design and execution of “turnkey” concept stores and marketing suites designed for developers and advisors looking for a way to enhance the real estate product new to the market and which materializes within an aspirational physical outpost capable of engaging a type of customer usually less emotionally involved.
