Ducale Collection<\/strong> is the new line of carpets by Besana Carpet<\/strong> Lab<\/strong> and, at the same time, also the natural evolution of the fantastic Milanese project by designer Cristina Celestino, titled Tram Corallo<\/strong>. The project, presented in collaboration with Besana Carpet Lab<\/strong> during the Milano Design Week 2018<\/strong>, starred the traditional<\/strong> Milanese tram<\/strong> as the main protagonist, but wholly reinterpreted in its interiors with refined and spiffy tailor-made carpeting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The same customization<\/strong>, associated with the absolute manufacturing and stylistic quality<\/strong> that is so typical of the Besana brand<\/strong>, is now also at the foundation of the new collection.<\/p>\n

The inspiration that led to the creation of Ducale Collection<\/strong> is unexpected and decidedly original: the concept is based on male cufflinks<\/strong>, intended as elements of style and classy accessories<\/strong> for the definition of an individual\u2019s identity and personality<\/strong>. Always the object of very peculiar customizations<\/strong>, cufflinks are jewels for the wrist<\/strong>, here reinterpreted for the interior design industry and transformed into elements of textile furnishing <\/strong>that enhance all the charm of the graphics and geometries of the regimental style<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is how Ducale<\/strong> presents a collection of rugs where inlays of different carpets coexist and stand out<\/strong> (from Diana<\/strong> to Grace<\/strong>, from Silk<\/strong> to Royal<\/strong>): eclecticism<\/strong> is the watchword, in a series of contrasts that join the concept of\u00a0austere elegance<\/strong>. A neat and linear melting-pot<\/strong> made of original combinations of colors<\/strong>, different thicknesses<\/strong> and textures<\/strong>, for a unique textile experience.<\/p>\n

Three are the types of carpets<\/strong> included in the collection, and they are all characterized by a great personality<\/strong>, different processes and sizes<\/strong>. Well-identifiable variants that are the result of the combination of diverse carpets, materials and chromatic contrasts<\/strong>, each studied in every detail. Particularly noteworthy is the golden-yellow seam<\/strong> that recalls the concept of men\u2019s cufflinks: here it is used to enhance the edges and diagonal sections. <\/strong><\/p>\n
